Fed: Qantas cabin crew serve up a strike

SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - Qantas' international cabin crew were determined to attend theirfirst-ever strike meeting today - even if it meant struggling to return home from overseasfor the occasion.
Their union said the airline attempted to reduce the impact of the stopwork gatheringby sending many flight attendants to international ports.
But around 800 uniformed cabin crew - and a few pilots - flocked to the meeting atSydney's Randwick Racecourse, the unexpected turnout forcing many to stand in corridorsor on staircases.
