NSW: Two shot outside Sydney newsagency

SYDNEY, Dec 24 AAP - Two people have been shot following an argument outside a newsagentin Sydney's east, police said.

Several shots were fired and two people were confirmed shot outside a newsagent onBunnerong Road, Matraville, shortly after 9am (AEDT) today, a police spokeswoman said.

Their conditions were not yet known and a crime scene had been established.

The pair had been arguing immediately before the shots were fired, the police spokeswoman said.
